“Rasulullah (SAW) said "If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird or a person or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift for him"

Plant an Olive tree - Gift Islam
According to a study led by Yale University (link will open in a new browser tab) researchers has found that there are over 3 trillion trees on Earth - but they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Amongst the many ways you can take part in Sadaqah Jariyah, a simple yet very helpful one is to plant a tree.
For a small donation a tree can be planted and be a resource of food, shelter and many other uses including medicinal purposes. These trees only cost you £8 per tree and one of the countries you can have it planted in is Gaza, Palestine.

Olive tree donation gift
In the next two years with your helpful donations we hope to plant over 50,000 olive trees and grow together as one ummah with blessings for eternity. For more than a hundred years an olive tree will provide the main sources of livelihood. For a small package at 18 metres high, in 3-5 years this tree will be bearing fruit and serve its purpose for many generations to come.
Whilst helping us grow trees in less fortunate countries you can also manage your zakat on our website. If you’re due for any zakat, check out our easy to use zakat calculator UK to see exactly how much.
