London, UK – May 23, 2025. As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza reaches critical levels, the United Kingdom has taken a clear diplomatic stance, condemning ongoing aid restrictions and demanding quick humanitarian access. It comes amid growing international pressure on Israel to lift its blockade and allow life-saving supplies into the region.

Foreign Secretary David Lammy has declared Israel's latest aggression "morally unjustifiable" and announced a series of diplomatic measures, including the suspension of trade negotiations with Israel and Sanctioned individuals and companies involved in settler violence, and summoned Israel’s ambassador for an official rebuke.

In a joint statement on Monday from the presidents of the UK, Canada, and France, the Israeli government has already been warned that   Israel must stop military expansion and "immediately allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza."  Despite global pressure, aid is still not reaching the people. So far, very little aid has made it into Gaza, leaving families and children in tremendous need.
