Al Mustafa Welfare Trust recently organized a healthcare event for women in partnership with Imperial NHS Trust & the Health Awareness Team from the London Borough of Hounslow.
The goal of this event was to highlight the importance of kidney health by Educating and supporting women in achieving and maintaining healthy kidneys through early detection and preventive treatments for the disease. An energizing fitness session was provided at the event, which promoted well-being, and general health care.
Why Women's Kidney Health Important
Kidney illness is considered a silent killer because normally symptoms might not appear until the damage has already been done. Women are usually at a higher risk than males to get affected by this disease because of hormonal shifts, and issues related to pregnancy, as they are more prone to autoimmune diseases. By getting regular health checkups, early detection and prevention can be possible, allowing them to improve their health and well-being.
