“And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) not but as a mercy for the Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists)” [al-Anbiya’ 21:107]
The blessed month of Rabi al Awwal is a month dedicated to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) – The Chosen One.
Prophet Muhammad (saw) was one of the best of creation, encouraging us to do good, serving others and caring for the needy. He was The Chosen One, to bring us the Holy Qur’an, to complete the religion of Islam and to unite the ummah.
During Rabi al Awwal and always, we ask you to join us in remembering the Prophet (saw). One of the best ways to honour him, is to give in charity and support deserving causes around the world.
The Prophet (saw) said: “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it to others.” [Bukhari]
Learning the Qur’an not only brings children closer to Allah (swt) but guides them in growing up to be moral and devout Muslims.
However, one in every five children around the world is out of school, and are also living without the opportunity to read and study the Qur’an. Instead, many are forced to work to support their families.
We work diligently to empower orphans and children from underprivileged families. Our Hafiz Sponsorship Programmes brings them a quality Islamic education and the opportunity to become Hafiz or Hafizah of the Holy Qur’an. Our specialist programme includes:
- Excellent and qualified alims and alimahs
- Opportunities to read and understand the Holy Qur’an, with tajweed and aqeedah.
- A quality secular education
- A safe, warm home with food, clothing and healthcare.
- A tailored programme for each child, specific to their needs and speed of learning.
By sponsoring a Hafiz this Rabi Al Awwal, you will be a guardian of the Qur’an, giving a vulnerable child the chance to take forwards the beautiful teachings of Islam.

Caring for orphans is a cause particularly dear to the Prophet Muhammad’s (saw) heart. He (saw) was also an orphan - his father passed away before he was even born, and he lost his mother as a very young child.
‘The Prophet (saw) said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,“ and he (saw) held his two fingers together to illustrate’. [Bukhari]
Without a mother or father to care for them, orphan children are often facing the world alone without protection or care. They are vulnerable to abuse, neglect and harm.
With our specialised orphan sponsorship programme, we provide a dedicated holistic project, seeking to improve every sphere of life of the child. In our warm and cosy homes, children have everything they need including food, clothing, healthcare and special places to study and to play. We provide a high-quality education to all orphans we support, with the aim of encouraging each child to achieve their dreams and break cycles of poverty.

“Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Sahih Bukhari]
The feeling of peace we experience when stepping foot into a mosque is unparalleled. The comfort we feel as we make sujood in a masjid is like nothing else. It is such a blessing to have a place where brothers and sisters can come together in worship, celebration and mourning.
Many poor Muslim communities around the world don’t have a masjid they can use, and are missing out on huge opportunities to pray, grow in their faith and learn more about Islam. Children have no place to learn Qur’an or come together with their community.
Building a mosque helps uplift Muslim communities around the world.
Help people in need feel the joy of a holy masjid, donate today to build your mosque.
By supporting Al Mustafa Welfare Trust’s build a Masjid project, not only will you be actively helping to found an important centre for worship and community, but you will also be building your own palace in Jannah, Insha’Allah.
A dedicated place in which to pray, read and recite the Holy Qur’an, and nourish your soul is so important, but unfortunately, Muslim communities in the developing world do not always have this option. Donating to our build a Masjid project will help to provide a blessed Mosque for our brothers and sisters in Asia and Africa, ensuring that they can join the global Ummah in experiencing the joy of worship and community that a Masjid can bring.
Our One Mosque, One Palace appeal isn’t just about constructing new Mosques. Thanks to the continued generosity of our donors, we can also renovate existing Mosques, providing valuable new facilities and amenities that benefit the entire community.
It is a wonderful experience to go to the Mosque regularly to pray alongside your brothers and sisters. Now, you can give less fortunate Muslims the same experience by providing dedicated prayer spaces and facilities.
Our appeal encompasses a range of packages, designed to ensure your donation for Mosque construction provides benefits to as many people as possible.
Just £1,000 will purchase a complete carpet for a Mosque.
£1,500 will purchase fans, lights, prayer mats, and a water cooler to renovate a Masjid.
Only £7,000 can fund the construction of a small Mosque serving 120 Muslims.
A donation of £15,000 could build a medium Mosque serving 300 Muslims.
£22,000 can construct a large Mosque with the capacity to serve 600 Muslims.
