Dhul Hijjah FAQs

Prophetic Qurbani is an extra act of love. While regular Qurbani fulfills our obligation during Eid-ul-Adha, the Prophetic Qurbani is done in remembrance of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He used to offer two Qurbanis, one for himself and one on behalf of his Ummah.

Prophetic Qurbani holds immense spiritual value. It reflects the Prophet’s mercy and care for his Ummah. When we continue this Sunnah, we are showing that we truly remember his sacrifices and teachings.

No, prophetic Qurbani is not mandatory for all; anyone with wealth beyond their basic needs can make Prophetic Qurbani for their Muslim brothers and sisters.

Yes, you can dedicate Prophetic Qurbani on behalf of your loved one, your parents, children, deceased relatives, or even the entire Ummah.

Yes, we allow you to choose where your Qurbani is performed. To do this, check out the country and region of your Qurbani. This helps you send the meat to the most vulnerable families in specific regions, whether war-torn, poverty-stricken, or disaster affected.

Qurbani will begin on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah, on Friday 6th June, and end at sunset on Sunday 8th June 2025, the 13th of Dhul Hijjah. Prophetic Qurbani can be performed with the obligatory Qurbani. That is why you can give prophetic qurbani during these days.
