Learn To Earn

Why Learn to Earn matters

Potential is everywhere.
Opportunity isn't.

────

People have the determination to work and provide for their families. What they often lack is access to training and the equipment needed to get started.

Al Mustafa Learn to Earn is helping change that. Through vocational training and skills development centres, we equip people from disadvantaged communities with practical skills that can create opportunities for employment and self-employment.

Our current programme supports women and adolescent girls in Pakistan through sewing, tailoring, cutting and embroidery training. Over a structured six-month learning cycle, trainees develop their skills through practical lessons, assessments and introductory entrepreneurship guidance.

The support continues after the course. Successful graduates receive a completion certificate and a sewing machine, giving them a practical way to start taking tailoring orders or working from home.

As Learn to Earn grows, our ambition is to offer additional trades and open these opportunities to more people across the communities we serve.

Because learning a skill is only the beginning.

What matters is the opportunity it gives someone to support themselves and their family.

How learn to earn works

More than training. A pathway to opportunity.

Today, our centres teach sewing, tailoring, cutting and embroidery to women and adolescent girls. We hope to introduce more trades and reach more people in the years ahead.

01 / LEARN

Access to training

Structured lessons make practical vocational skills more accessible to people with limited opportunities.

02 / DEVELOP

Practise real skills

Hands-on learning builds confidence in stitching, cutting, embroidery and practical work.

03 / EARN

Take the next step

Graduates receive certificates and sewing machines to support the move towards income-generating work.

04 / GROW

Build independence

Basic entrepreneurship guidance and post-training support help graduates plan for their futures.

Beyond the classroom

Training is the beginning.
Earning is the goal.

Completing a course is an important milestone, but putting new skills to work requires more than a certificate.

That is why successful graduates receive a sewing machine alongside their completion certificate, helping them explore opportunities to take orders, work from home and build a livelihood at their own pace.

✓ A certificate on successful completion of training
✓ A sewing machine for successful graduates
✓ Guidance and support after completing the course
