This day emphasizes achieving international commitments and calls for people to unite in diversity and engage in collective actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Stand in Solidarity with Gaza, Palestine!
As we think about how important it is to stand together on International Human Solidarity Day, the tragic humanitarian crisis in Palestine needs our attention. Palestinian people are calling on the world for urgent help because the ongoing war has had catastrophic results. More than 44,786 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the war started. And tragically, up to 50% of these identified fatalities are women and children. Along with that, at least 106,188 Palestinians have been injured, and the healthcare system is on the brink of collapse in Gaza.
