38 killed, over 500 injured. We are the first charity in Kashmir handing out food packs, emergency medical supplies and renovating houses.
It's more than a coincidence that our team happened to be the first of all charities on the ground helping the people in Kashmir affected by the recent Earthquake that took place on Tuesday 24 September 2019 at 4:02pm (local time) - it was fate. We recently launched a new campaign "Save our children in Kashmir" where we are taking a convoy of 80 trucks carrying medical supplies and family food packs to help the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
As soon as the news of the earthquake reached the local team, they were able to quickly plan and organise logistics to send vans to the affected parts of Kashmir by the recent earthquake. These vans which were originally equipped with Eye Camp medical supplies were replaced with family food packs and emergency medical relief packs instead. Not only vans but trucks with water tanks were also sent there and clean drinking water is a major life saving factor.
At 5.8 magnitude, the earthquake is strong enough to destroy the homes of families. Even if they are partially damaged, it is a major health and safety risk to live there.
5.8 magnitude earthquake struck Azad Kashmir, Pakistan on 24 September at 16:02 local time
But our efforts to help the earthquake victims by delivering much needed medical aid and food completely depends on your donations. This particular earthquake was 10km (six miles) deep according to Pakistan's chief meteorologist, Muhammad Riaz and children are among the dead. Please donate generously so we can help as many men, women, children and elderly victims affected.
