Support Gaza's People in Their Time of Need

Al Mustafa Welfare Trust is calling upon the global community to extend their support to the Palestinian population in Gaza, who are grappling with dire circumstances exacerbated by the current situation in the region. With the escalation of tensions and ongoing challenges, the people of Gaza are facing immense hardships, including widespread poverty, inadequate access to healthcare, and a lack of necessities.

As an organisation dedicated to humanitarian aid, Al Mustafa Welfare Trust is committed to alleviating the suffering of those in need, particularly in regions affected by conflict and crisis. The situation in Gaza demands immediate attention and concerted efforts to provide vital assistance to those who are most vulnerable.

"We cannot turn a blind eye to the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Gaza," says [Rizwana Latif], [Director] at Al Mustafa Welfare Trust. "Their plight is urgent, and they need our support now more than ever. Through collective action and compassion, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those enduring unimaginable hardship. We have to date supported nearly 150,00 people in Gaza, but we need to do more."

Al Mustafa Welfare Trust is appealing to individuals, organisations, and governments to contribute generously to their relief efforts for Gaza. Donations will be utilised to provide a comprehensive range of aid, including:

Food Assistance: Many families in Gaza struggle to secure an adequate and nutritious diet. Your donations can provide essential food packages, ensuring families have access to sustenance during these challenging times. Your donations have enabled us to provide food packs to 7000 families.

Medical Supplies and Healthcare: Access to healthcare facilities and medical supplies in Gaza is limited, leaving many without the necessary treatment and support. Your donations can help procure vital medical supplies, equipment, and medications and support medical teams providing care on the ground. 18,000 people have received medical supplies in Gaza.

As a direct result of your donations, we have supplied medical equipment to three field hospitals run by the Royal Jordian Charitable Trust. Two are field hospitals in the south of Gaza (Khan Yunis and Tal Al-Hawa, and another is in the West Bank (Nablus). We have also supplied equipment to two Jordanian surgical stations in Ramallah and Jenin in the west bank.

Clean Water and Sanitation: Clean water is a fundamental human right, yet it remains scarce in Gaza. Your contributions can support initiatives to improve access to clean water and sanitation facilities, promoting better health outcomes and hygiene practices. As a result of your donations, we have provided 1200 people with clean drinking water.

Shelter and Emergency Relief: Many families in Gaza have been displaced from their homes due to conflict and violence, leaving them without shelter and necessities. Your donations can help provide emergency shelter, essential household items, and support for displaced families as they rebuild their lives. Shelter is at a premium, and your donations will go a long way to help improve the current situation.

Additionally, as the holy month of Ramadan approaches, Al Mustafa Welfare Trust emphasises the significance of Zakat in assisting the less fortunate. Zakat, one of the Five Pillars of Islam, serves as a means of purifying wealth and supporting those in need. By donating Zakat to Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, individuals can fulfill their religious obligations while directly impacting the lives of Palestinians in Gaza.

"We encourage everyone to remember the Palestinians in Gaza in their prayers and to extend their support through donations, especially during Ramadan," adds [Abdul Razzaq Sajid]."Together, we can provide hope and relief to those enduring immense suffering."
