Our future projects

Al Mustafa Welfare Trust plans to carry out a reseach study on the different technologies available to provide clean water and sanitation. As in all developing countries, water is either not accessible or contaminated. In those areas where underground water is contaminated we provide water treatment plants. Theses plants can help the population of small towns to access clean drinking water. One plant will cost around £3000.

For 2012, AMWT plans to implement the installation of 200 water handpumps and 15 water treatment plants in rural villages across Pakistan that have no access to clean drinking water or sanitation.

Future Projects in Focus for Asia and Somalia

• 1000 water pumps are required for the flood hit areas
• 500 electric pumps are required
• 100 agricultural tube wells urgently required to help the flood victims to start their agricultural activates and stand on their on feet
