Types of Fundraising

Their are a number of ways you can help participate in raising vital funds for Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust:

Special Event Fundraising

You can raise funds on behalf of Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust by organising a special event in your town or city. The type of event that will work best for you depends on a variety of factors, including where you are located, the time of year, and who you are trying to reach. Make sure that the price range of the event you are planning is appropriate for the income level of the population you are targeting. Before scheduling a special event, be sure that you find out what other activities are going on in your city when choosing a date. Verify that you aren't scheduling your event at a time when there are several other activities in the same area that will appeal to the same people you are counting on being able to attract to yours. The type of special events must adhere to Islamic practices. Typical examples of special events could be:

This type of fundraising is especially ideal for individuals or organizations that are trying to attract supporters who can't make large financial commitments. Both entry fees and sponsorship sales allow money to be made using these types of fundraising events. Typical examples could be:

Corporate or Business Signup

You can raise funds on behalf of Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust by signing up corporations or businesses to pledge a regular donation from their profits. Most business give donations for specific purposes anyway as it helps them to maintain their corporate image. By signing up means the company is committing to providing regular funds which is vital to our charity. Corporation/Business can signup to support a specific project such as Housing Rehabilitation in Pakistan or support our Medical Centres or they can contribute to any other project that suits them.

This process of fundraising is not a fast one. The companies usually take a lot of time to process your request, but once accepted it can be substantial and for a longer period of time. Cause Related Marketing

Companies can raise funds on behalf of Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust by embracing one of our many causes. Nothing builds brand loyalty among today's increasingly hard-to-please consumers like a company's proven commitment to a worthy cause. Other things being equal, many consumers would rather do business with a company that stands for something beyond profits.

Al-Mustafa would would receive donations in proportion to the sales of the product. The upside of such funding is that it’s restricted only by the volume of sales, and in the process our charity also gets some publicity through the media campaigns of the commercial company.

Logo Merchandising

You can raise funds on behalf of Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust by selling merchandise with our logo on various merchandise. You can donate a certain percentage of the profits towards Al-Mustafa and keep the remaining to cover the costs of purchasing/printing costs. You can sell these items on Ebay, dedicated e-commerce store, stalls or sell them to businesses as corporate gifts that they can use as thank you for individuals within organizations. Typical examples of merchandise could be:

Planned Giving

You can raise funds on behalf of Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust by planned giving process. In planned giving, a donor or donors pledge to give certain amount of money on specific events, like his or her death or when they receive their salary or on their birthday.
